So far this year, I have 30+ fleeces to offer. Because of my shoulder, it will take me a while to get them all reskirted, photographed, bagged and tagged. I got 7 done in 3 hours yesterday. If I can get a friend, or two, to come help when the weather breaks again, I will get them on here quicker. 😁
Natalie. Dorset/Romney with just a touch of Jacob. 3 1/2-4 1/2" staple. 5 1/4# $30 plus shipping.
As you can see, Natalie has LOTS of colors.
If I had the time (and shoulder) to process this fleece,
I would comb the majority of it to preserve the different
colors. I would then card the rest that is the same shade of
gray/brown. But, not this year and not this fleece. :)

Crispy. Dorset/Romney
5-6" staple with LOTS of crimp

Her center back is shorter for some reason
and heavily VM'd. I did not pull it out for
fear of contaminating the rest of the fleece.
If you lay it out on a sheet, and gentle pull off
the outer fleece you will be able to contain it to
that area. The rest of her fleece is gorgeous.
The tips are muddy, but should wash out easily enough.
This is the center of her back.
This is a piece from the center of her
back, and below a lock from that piece.
A cold water soak to get out any mud,
and a set of combs should get the majority
of it out. As you can see, it is almost 3" long.
Half the length of the rest. I am wondering if she
found someplace to scratch this past year that did
not involve the rest of the fleeces, but just the back.

Normally I don't sell lamb fleeces, but this year is an
exception. I had shoulder surgery 12/11/17 and I am not
yet ready to be processing fleeces, nor spinning.
Like Natalie, this fleece is a great candidate for combing
and carding both. With the extremely long locks, you could
also just take a handful of locks and flick the ends open with
a hard comb and spin from the lock. That is my #1 favorite
way to spin long locks. #2 is spinning from the combs.

The 4 white and 1 lamb Dorset/Romney sheep belong to
one of our shearing customers. All of her ewes are out of
either our black Romney ram, our chocolate black
Dorset/Romney ram or our white Horned Dorset ram.
She does not care to have a ram of her own, and our
boys are all sweet, so they visit her flock in the fall.
Below are her sheep, prior to shearing and during.
