Shearing has begun

Jerry shears Jonna, while one of
her lambs stays close by.
She is Horned Dorset.
The other mothers, and their lambs, are staying out of the way.

Nice fleece, nice sheep, great mother.

Baabaara feels she needs to check things out.

Natalie had been wearing a coat since fall.
But, there is still some VM. Most seems to
be on the surface.

With her baby below.
Some VM.
Some muddy tips.

Oreo is another that had been wearing a coat
since fall, but still has some VM in her fleece.

I will get weights on these when I get a chance and post them here. In the meantime, if you are interested in any of them, let me know at eweifarm@msn.com and I can tell you as soon as I am home from work, or in the barn from lambing.
